What is a High View Church?

“High View of God” - (He is... We’re Not!)

Simply put... He is God and we are not. As God, He is perfect in person, power and plan. He is above and beyond any other being in existence. Because this is true we recognize Him as such through what we believe and how we live.

“I am the Lord; there is no other God.” ~ Isaiah 45:5 NLT

“High View of God’s Word” - (He speaks... We Listen!)

When the most powerful, perfect, loving being speaks we believe it’s important to listen. God has shared His thoughts and ways as recorded in the Bible. The Bible is His Word written for our benefit. His thoughts and ways ALWAYS trump our ours thoughts and ways.

“My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.” ~ Isaiah 55:9 NLT

“High View of God’s Love” - (He Loves... We Try!)

Whatever God is that He also does. God says that He is love, therefore He loves. We see and experience God’s love through Jesus and His death for our sins and His resurrection for our life. His love is perfect, full, rich and complete. This is the pattern or standard by which we love one another as well as the whole world.

“High View of God’s World Mission” - (He Goes... We Follow!)

Because God loves the world so much He came into the world to pay for the sins of all humanity. This is GOOD news! His mission is for the whole world to hear of His great love for them expressed through Jesus Christ. His mission is our mission; to go into all the world and share the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.
