Giving

Our example is a generous God.

Jesus makes it clear that our commitment to Him often stands in contrast to the pursuit of the "American Dream." For followers of Christ, giving is not just a biblical principle—it's a powerful way to continually place value on Jesus above material things.

When we give, we place Jesus firmly on the throne of our hearts. It's a form of worship that goes beyond songs and words, reflecting a life surrendered to Him.

So... what is tithing?

Tithing is just a word that means giving the first 10% of your income. It comes from the word “tithe,” which literally means “tenth.” The Bible talks a lot about generosity, and tithing is one way we can live that out—by giving back to God through our local church.

But here’s the cool thing: tithing isn’t just about following a rule—it’s about trusting God with what we have and seeing how He shows up in our lives. When we give our first and best to Him, He promises to take care of the rest. You really can’t outgive God!

We get it—tithing can feel like a big step. But just like everything else in following Jesus, it’s not about pressure—it’s an invitation. And you’re not doing it alone. We’re here to walk with you and cheer you on, because we’ve seen firsthand how it can change lives!

Give another way

Generosity transforms lives, and it extends beyond just financial contributions.

It involves three key areas: time, talents, and treasure. While we uphold tithing as a biblical principle, we also recognize that offering your time and sharing your unique abilities are powerful expressions of generosity and meaningful ways to support our community.
