So... what is tithing?
Tithing is just a word that means giving the first 10% of your income. It comes from the word “tithe,” which literally means “tenth.” The Bible talks a lot about generosity, and tithing is one way we can live that out—by giving back to God through our local church.
But here’s the cool thing: tithing isn’t just about following a rule—it’s about trusting God with what we have and seeing how He shows up in our lives. When we give our first and best to Him, He promises to take care of the rest. You really can’t outgive God!
We get it—tithing can feel like a big step. But just like everything else in following Jesus, it’s not about pressure—it’s an invitation. And you’re not doing it alone. We’re here to walk with you and cheer you on, because we’ve seen firsthand how it can change lives!

As Scripture consistently teaches, we are called to give to God first—not what’s left over. Proverbs 3:9–10 reminds us of this principle. In the midst of mounting bills and the pressures of daily life, it can be easy to forget. But honoring God with our first and best is an act of trust and worship.

All credit card processing is handled through secure, trusted services, and your information is encrypted when it's sent—using 128-bit encryption, which is one of the strongest levels available for most internet browsers in North America. Your personal information is kept safe with the Planning Center system, and we promise to never share it with anyone—except when needed to process your scheduled contributions. You’re always in control: you can set up, change, or cancel your contributions anytime before they're processed. Once a contribution goes through, it can’t be canceled.

Q: IS IT SAFE TO GIVE ONLINE?
Yes. In many ways, giving online is safer than writing a check, as electronic gifts cannot be lost or stolen. Our online giving platform is managed securely by Planning Center and is continuously monitored for your protection.Q: WHAT TYPES OF ACCOUNTS CAN I GIVE FROM?
You can give online using any major credit card, debit card, or bank card.Q: ARE THERE ANY FEES INVOLVED WITH GIVING ONLINE?
Not for you. There are no fees to make an online gift. In fact, online giving is a more cost-efficient way for the church to process donations. You do have the option to cover the processing fees, but this is entirely optional.Q: CAN I MAKE A ONE-TIME CONTRIBUTION?
Yes. You can choose to make a one-time gift or set up a recurring contribution.Q: WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RECURRING GIFTS?
You can schedule recurring gifts to be given weekly, every two weeks, twice a month, or once a month.Q: CAN I CHANGE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION, GIFT AMOUNT, OR FREQUENCY AFTER SETTING IT UP?
Yes. You can update or cancel your contribution at any time before the next scheduled gift. Simply log in with your username and password to make any changes.Q: CAN I REVIEW MY DONATION HISTORY ONLINE?
Yes. Once your account is created and connected to your previous giving history, you’ll be able to view your full contribution record—online or otherwise. This connection is a one-time process for security purposes.Q: WILL I STILL RECEIVE CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS FROM THE CHURCH?
Yes. You’ll continue to receive year-end contribution statements by mail for tax purposes. You can also download your giving statements anytime from your online account.Q: CAN I DESIGNATE MY GIFT TO A SPECIFIC CAUSE?
Yes. You can choose to give toward tithes/offerings, the missions fund, or a specific ministry. Additional giving options may be available throughout the year.Q: HOW WILL I KNOW MY GIFT WAS RECEIVED?
You’ll receive an email confirmation immediately after your contribution is submitted.Q: DOES IT MATTER WHICH INTERNET BROWSER I USE?
No. Our giving platform works with all major internet browsers.Q: CAN I USE A DEBIT CARD?
You can use a Visa or MasterCard debit check card. However, true debit cards (requiring a PIN) are not accepted due to security concerns. For debit-style giving, you can use ACH bank drafts instead.Q: I HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS. WHO CAN I CONTACT?
