Josh Kasselman

My name is Josh, and I have the privilege of serving as the Next Generations Pastor, overseeing ministries for ages 0–30. My wife, Dora, and I have been married since 2015, and we are blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Before stepping into full-time ministry in 2022, I served 10 years in the U.S. Navy and later owned an insurance agency in Sachse, Texas. I’m grateful for both of those seasons, but neither compares to the joy, fulfillment, and sense of purpose I’ve found in serving and investing in the next generation.

I truly believe this generation is hungry for the Lord and ready to do incredible things for His Kingdom. With intentional discipleship, loving accountability, and consistent investment—alongside the discipleship happening in the home—I believe their lives can be marked by God’s goodness, faithfulness, and mercy. My prayer is that they would carry the mantle of advancing His Kingdom and glorifying His name wherever He leads them.

My heart is to help create an environment where students are consistently discipled, genuinely known, and lovingly challenged—where they grow in reverence for God’s Word and develop a deep, lasting affection for Him.

I would love the opportunity to meet you and partner with you in shepherding your student’s heart and helping them make much of Jesus.

  • Favorite Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:7–18

“Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair; we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed. We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our body…

Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
